He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Marvin and Ruth J. Swenson (Iverson); his wife Judy; his children, Kirk Swenson (Robert), Paris (France), Dr. Anne Ticknor (Rob) of Greenville, NC and Mercedes Anacabe (Bilbao); his sister Ronda Hill (Richard) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Jamison of Columbus Junction, IA and Jim Jamison (Judy) of Bettendorf, IA. He was also cherished by three nieces and three nephews, their spouses, and children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pence-Reese Funeral Home (310 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church in Newton.
