We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2023, at the age of 92, Lela Jean Nichols of Newton, Iowa, born in Hamilton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Clipperton and Irene Clipperton (Godfrey); her husband Keith Nichols; and her grandson Ahren Knopf. She is survived by : her children, Debbie Knopf (Gene) of Newton and Jeff Nichols (Debbie); her grandsons, Brandon Knopf, Tyler Nichols, Josh Nichols (Bonnie) and Blaine Nichols (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Olivia Bebout and Jax Nichols. She is also survived by four siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
