With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LeRoy Fredrick Rinehart of Newton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rinehart and Marjorie Rinehart (Hegwood); his brother Charles Rinehart (Sheryl); and his nephew Troy Herndon. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rinehart of Newton; his children, JoEllen Linn (Mark) of Newton and Aaron Rinehart (Alicia) of Newton; his granddaughters, Haley Rinehart of Altoona and Madison Rinehart of Newton; and his siblings, LaVonne Herndon of Osceola and Lynn Rinehart (Nancy) of Newton. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in LeRoy's name (checks made payable to Shirley Rinehart) may be left at the funeral home.
