It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lori Griffin of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Carter and Carol Carter (Flege); and her siblings, Bobby Carter and Lisa Carter. She is survived by: her husband Brad Breckenridge; her children, Jacob Ham (Stephanie) of Bondurant, Jared Griffin of Waukee and Jayme Griffin of Newton; her grandchildren, Carter, McKinley, Paisley, Kason, Mercy, Messiah and Josiah; and her siblings, Jim Carter (Josie), Jeni Wickliff (Dave Thomasson) and Lorri French. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Newton Union Cemetery (1601 W 4th St N, Newton, IA 50208).
