She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Stewart and Geraldine Stewart (Wood); her husband Earl Butler; her daughter-in-law Jane Butler; and her brother Bill Stewart.
She is survived by: her son Mark Butler of Newton; and her siblings, Gary Stewart (Kay) of North Carolina, Larry Stewart (Peney) of Newton, Chuck Stewart (Sherry) of Altoona and Mary Denato (Tony) of Marshalltown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church may be left at the funeral home.
