It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn J Currant of Newton, Iowa, born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Hill and Florence Hill (Brotzman); her husband Howard Currant; and her brother Floyd Hill, Jr. (Virginia). She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Currant of Coralville, Karen Burkheimer (Dennis) of Urbandale, David Currant (Kelly) of Bondurant, Jenny Hamand (Mike) of Newton and Deanne Donnelly (Doug) of Clive. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and her two great-grandchildren.
Marilyn enjoyed volunteering with RSVP at the hospital and reading with children in area schools.
