It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Trease Lester of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, George Koppin and Alice May Koppin (Scheel); her daughter Sinthia Ann Madoll; and her husband Jerry L. Lester. She is survived by : her son William Madoll (Bill) of Newton; and her sister Nancy Williamson (Walter) of Ladson. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
