He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ward of Newton; his children, Joy Evavold (Tim) of Canton and Brent Ward (Laurie) of McDonough, Georgia; his grandson Jacob Evavold (James Hunter Lankford); his sisters-in-law, Betty Ward of Newton and Kay Ward of Des Moines; his friends, Adam and Jana Todd; Clara and Nora. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials to the College of the Ozarks or Wesley Life Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
