We are sad to announce that, on December 2, 2025, at the age of 96, Merna Rusk of Newton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Preston and Lena May Graham (Fee); her husband Claude A. Rusk; her daughter-in-law Jeannie Rusk; her grandson Jaden Rusk; her sister Betty; and her brother-in-law Bradley McMain.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Rusk of Newton, Tony Rusk (Catherine) of Tijeras, Martha Rusk of Chicago, Ann Goodrich (Dale) of Montezuma, Brian Rusk (Lisa) of Colfax and Jon Rusk (Marjeanne Scheff) of Newton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family requests a moment of reflection on the joy of life in lieu of flowers or donations.
