Paul Goodwin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2026, at the age of 95, Paul Goodwin of Newton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Goodwin and Olive Goodwin (Kelly); his wife Marilyn Goodwin; and his siblings, Clifford Goodwin, Wahnetta Lendt, Clarence Goodwin, Jr. and Ardella Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Goodwin of Newton; his children, Andrea Bloomquist, Paula Gibbons and William Goodwin (Theresa); his grandchildren, Tisha, Tonya, Jess, Kirsten, Ted and Grace; and his sister Darlene Funston. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Elm Grove Cemetery (1101 S Ave E, Washington, IA 52353).
Memorials to the American Legion Post 111 to be used for a Korean Veteran's Meal may be left at the funeral home.
