He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Malaura Werling (Jeff) and Mark Martens (Diane); his grandchildren, Nick Martens (Ashlee), Rachel Sido (Colin) and Noah Werling (Kristina); his great grandchildren, Bryar, Kinzlee Martens, Jace and Luke Sido; and his sisters, Roberta Pippert and Ramona Kaller. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Jasper County 4-H Program.
