He is survived by: his son Adam James of Newton; his grandson Mathias Rodgers; his stepchildren, Randy Birkenholtz of Colfax and Kelli Logan of Minnesota; and his siblings, Roger James of Tennessee, Randy James of Kellogg and Lori Mathes (Darren) of Newton.
