It is with sadness that the passing of Sondra Doak of Newton, Iowa is shared. Sondra, born on June 24, 1942, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claron B. McCroskey and Evelyn McCroskey (Roozeboom); her husband Kenny Doak; her stepgrandson Joshua Doak; and her pets, Cocoa Puff and Fletcher.

She is survived by: her children, Darrin Blom (Margaret) and Kennetha Jones (Robert McCracken); her stepsons, Gary Doak (Audra) and Randall Doak; her grandchildren, Richard Blom (Brianna James) and Anna Akers (Andy); her great grandchildren, Weston, Atticus and Abram; her stepgrandchildren, Alexander Doak and Olivia Doak; her siblings, William McCroskey (Dran) and Karen Guffey; and her sister-in-law Ann Ulmer (Doak). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wittemberg Cemetery may be left at the funeral home.
