It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Hugh Mitrisin of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steve Hugh Mitrisin to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mitrisin and Emma Mitrisin (Cox); and his siblings, James, John, George, Dan, Bill, Marguerite, Kate and Joyce.

He is survived by: his wife Madge Louise Mitrisin; his children, Jim Mitrisin (Betty) of Camino, CA, Debra Weaver (Harry) of Newton, IA, Laurie Vandecoevering (Leo) of Grant City, MO and Jennifer Bingham (Bryan) of Overland Park, KS; and his siblings, Virgil Mitrisin (Sue) of Phoenix, AZ, Susanne Vander Martin of Oskaloosa, IA, Jane Davis of Oskaloosa, IA and Sondra Mitrisin of Missouri. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
