He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sylvester and Adela Putz (James); his wife Pat; and his daughter Angie Ancer. He is survived by: his sons, David Putz and Aron Putz; and his stepsiblings, Dennis Metz, Delbert Metz and Diane Ergenbright.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Reese Funeral Home & Cremation Services (310 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Newton Union Cemetery (1600 W 4th St N, Newton, IA 50208).
