As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Tom may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucas M. Hill and Virginia Hill (Thomas); his brother-in-law Floyd Innis; and his nephew Chris Innis. He is survived by: his son Andrew L. Hill of Iowa City; his wife Lou Ann of Newton; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Kinnaird (Jerry) of Cedar Falls and Rosemary Innis of Johnston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tom's honor to the Gift of Life Transplant House in Rochester, MN, the Newton Arboretum, the Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City, or WesleyLife Hospice.
