He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrin "Dean" Walker and Betty Walker (Noah); his sister Janice Wilmoth; his parents-in-law, LuVern and Dorothy Ruiter; and his brother-in-law Darwin Ruiter.
He is survived by: his wife Corinne Walker of Nora Springs; his children, Ty Walker of Nora Springs and Whitney Johnson (Derek) of Rockford; his grandsons, Cooper and Grayson Walker; his siblings, Pam Walker of Nora Springs and Tom Walker (Tammy) of Thornton; and his brother-in-law Scott Ruiter of Clear Lake, Minnesota.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rock Falls Community Center (3 Nottingham St, Rock Falls, IA 50467).
Don continued his giving spirit through organ and tissue donation with the Iowa Donor Network.
