In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Karen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Karen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hayungs and Betty Hayungs (Raymond); and her siblings, David, John Jr., Darrell, Richard and Sharon Hayungs.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Anderson (Nicholas).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sheckler Colonial Chapel (114 N Hawkeye Ave, Nora Springs, IA 50458). A prayer will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
