He was predeceased by: his wife Janyce Paul; his son Dwayne; his siblings, Roger Behne, Phyllis Oeltjenbrun and Betty Behne; and his son-in-law Randy Brummer.

He is survived by: his children, Carrie Brodersen (Michael) of Manly, Rani Brummer of Wisconsin and Michael Behne (Michelle) of Nora Springs; his grandchildren, Lindsey Brodersen (Jeni), Matt Brodersen (Ashley), Megan Lafler (Cody), Mark Brodersen (Courtney), Tyler Behne (Aria), Spencer Behne (Amber), Ryan Brummer (Jennifer), Holly Porter (Brian) and Ethan Brummer; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Albert. He is also survived by his 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.

Family kindly requests that memorials be directed to Cornerstone Assisted Living, as they helped Ron be able to stay in his home this last month.
