He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo O'Rourke and Theresa O'Rourke (Agnew); his son Christopher John; his brother Jim; his parents-in-law, Jim and Grace Keiser; and his brothers-in-law, Stan Keiser and Gary Keiser.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Keiser; his children, Jason O'Rourke (Valerie) and Kim Schleusner (Jake); his grandchildren, Trey, Michael, Allyson, Lauryn and Jenna; and his brothers, Joe O'Rourke (Joyce), Jerry O'Rourke (Sherri), Jeff O'Rourke (Cindy) and Jay O'Rourke (Gail).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's honor to the North English QRS or the English Valleys Food Bank.
