She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scanlon and Mary Scanlon (Ryan); her daughter Tammy; and her siblings, Mary Kinyon, Cecelia, Patricia, Theresa and Edward.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis E. Smith; her children, Ruby Morehead (Jeff) of Williamsburg, Tanya Smith of Parnell, Shawn Smith (Kathleen) of Rapid City, SD, Jennifer Roberts (Nate) of Waukee and Jeremy Smith of Parnell; her grandchildren, Kathryn, Caroline Morehead, Spencer Ford and Adalina Roberts; and her siblings, Kathleen Webster of Ely, Maureen Carson of Solon, John Scanlon (Vickie) of Cedar Rapids and Jim Scanlon of South English.
