He was predeceased by: his father Rodney Larpenter; and his daughter Freya Larpenter. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Larpenter of Lone Tree; his wife Alicia Netolicky of North Liberty; his son Tyler Larpenter; and his sisters, JoAnn Larpenter-Sinclair (Andrew Sinclair) of Iowa City and Nicole Larpenter (Kelly Larpenter) of Des Moines.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service (605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City, IA 52240).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Jesse Larpenter Memorial Fund or native flowers to add to their garden in Freya and Jesse's honor.
