He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Gordon and Myrtle Gordon; his wife Phyllis Gordon; and his brother Roger Gordon. He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Gordon of Mason City and Teresa Hanson (Mike) of Kensett, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Nicole Hennick (Steve) of Nashua, Jenna Ellingson (Shawn) of Glenville and Alex Hanson (Haley) of Northwood; his great grandchildren, Carter, Kaylee, Kyler, Madison, Max, Bree, Jackson, Kade, Kenna and Kinsley; his great great grandchildren, Iris and Brexton; and his sister Laura Greenlund (Gary) of Northfield, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
