She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Harris and Dorothy Chapman Harris (Wildman); her husband Bryce Thorson; her children, Lynn Thorson and Dennis Thorson; and her siblings, Marjory Burk, Ann Cady and Bob Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Kip Thorson (Mary), Julie Carlson, Steve Thorson (Tracy), Greg Thorson (Julie) and Nancy LaVelle (Mike); and her grandchildren, Pete Carlson (Shannon), Michael Carlson (Dani), Amy Carlson, James Thorson (Alicia), Ryan Thorson (Paige), Cole Thorson, Adam Thorson (Katheryn), Hannah Thorson, Alec LaVelle, Austin LaVelle of Carter LaVelle, T. J, Hucka, Tanner Hucka, Tiffany Herr (Austin) and Bryce Thorson. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to the Faith United Methodist Church.
