It is with sadness that the passing of Dale Brown of Norwalk, Iowa is shared. Dale, born on January 22, 1936 in Grand River, Iowa, passed away on July 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard John Brown and Arlie May Brown (Luce); his children, Joseph Dale Brown, Patrick Edwin Brown and Donna Patterson (Michael Patterson); his siblings, Doris German (Bill), Clarence Brown and John Brown; his stepmother Maxine Munyon Brown Baker; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Mary "Mamie" Fay.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Brown; his sons, Timothy Brown (Sindy) of St. Charles and Christopher Brown (Stephanie) of St. Charles, Iowa; his grandchildren, Melinda Zimmerman (Dale) of Whittemore, Tyler Patterson (Brandon), Sarah Hansen (Darren) of St. Charles, Brantley Brown and Breslyn Brown of St. Charles, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Owen Zimmerman, Olivia Zimmerman, Addison Hansen, Benjamin Zimmerman and Alana Hansen; his sisters, Joyce Rose (Carrol) and Sherry Blaisdell (Larry); and his sister-in-law Rhonda Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
