David Matlock Obituary
In loving memory of David Matlock of Norwalk, Iowa, born in Lapeer, Michigan, who departed this world on November 1, 2025 at the age of 49. He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Matlock; his stepfather William Gibson; and his grandmother Evelyn Whiting. He is survived by: his wife Amanda; his children, Emmett, Grant of Norwalk, Iowa, Nathan Borowski (Siobhan) of Port Huron, Michigan and Erin Matlock of Maize, Kansas; his mother Geraldine Gibson of Port Huron, Michigan; his brothers, James Pruitt (Emilee Candelaria) of Orlando and Jonathan Pruitt of Louisiana; his nephew Cal Candelaria; his uncle Gerald Whiting; and his aunts, Gayle Eyre and Gwen Schoneman (Fred).
The military honors was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Puppy Jake Foundation; a charity that assists veterans struggling with PTSD or addiction; or to the donor's choice.
