With sadness, we share the passing of Frances Wilma Nugteren (Norwalk, Iowa). Frances, born on November 26, 1934, passed away on July 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Fennema (Aardsma) and John Fennema; her husband Marvin Nugteren; her siblings, Jack Fennema, Dave Fennema and Marian Meyer; and her children, Dan Tuinstra and Sue Nugteren.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Birru (Debela) of Des Moines, Diane Hagerman (Mike) of New Virginia, Sandee Thielen (Andy) of Prole and Sharon Gumm (Jeff) of Clive; her daughter-in-law Darla Claseman of Newton; and her sons, Jerry Tuinstra (Sandy) of Des Moines and Phil Nugteren of Newton. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
