It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Maher (Norwalk, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 28, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Michael and Mary Frances Maher (Golden); and his siblings, Dan, Bob and Mary Ellen.

He is survived by: his sons, James and Thomas; his wife Donella of Norwalk; his sons, Scott, Nora of Norwalk, Jim, Nancy of Newton, Mike, Marcia of Waukee, Tom and Andrea of Huxley; his siblings, Patricia Maher, Barbara Selby (John) and Frank Maher (Nancy); his grandchildren, Casey (Alli), Courtney Klocko (Carson), Alexa, Madison, Caden, Kayla, Natalie, Caitlin, Alayna, Jacob and Hannah; and his great grandchild Leon.
