He is survived by: his wife Shirley Carter of Norwalk; his son John Carter (Shireen) of Norwalk; his grandchild Indrid (Triston); his daughters, Zondra Hopkins (Dan) and Carmen Loots; and his grandchildren, Nichole (Jason), Christina, Tava and Dalton. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
