He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Anders and Vivian Anders; and his nephew Bill E. Anders. He is survived by: his brothers, Matt Anders (Lisa) and Ben Anders (Carla); his nephews, Jon Anders, Jacob Anders (Akilah) and Mitchell Keller (Max); and his niece Olivia Anders.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joe's name to Baretooth Cupboards (online or postal at PO Box 665, Red Lodge, Montana 59068).
