She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernhard Schonebeck and Johanna Schonebeck; her husband Nicholas; her daughter Mary Jo Ochs (Don); her siblings, Joseph, Paul Schonebeck and Ursula; and her brother-in-law Herbert Raible.

She is survived by: her children, Nick Zumsande of Fairfax, Tom Zumsande (Pam) of Fairfax and Carol Doser (Steve) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Matt Ochs, Stephen Ochs (Kelly), Michael, Nathan, Lauren Zumsande, Ryan (Emily), Nicole and Ellie Doser; her great grandchildren, Kieran, Emery, Carter, Hudson and Olivia Ochs; her brother Hermann Schonebeck (Maria) of Germany; and her sisters-in-law, Theresa and Margo Schonebeck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mary's name.
