He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Sales; his father Pearl Sales (Matherly); his in-laws, Robert and Dalia McNally; his son John Sales; his stepdaughter Mitzi Stone; and his siblings, Claude Sales, Ira Lee Sales, Pauline Wignal, Ronald Sales and Donald Sales.

He is survived by: his son Mark Sales (Melissa); his grandchildren, Michael Stark, Jesse Stark, Luke Sales, James Sales, Shelby Sales and Beau Mills; his brothers, Bill Sales and Jim Sales (Carol); and his sisters-in-law, Marie Sales, Helen Sales and Burneta Sales.
