He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond "Ray" Peter Feldhacker and Vernice Eileen Feldhacker (De Weese); his daughters, Tamara Kay Feldhacker, Brandee Marie Alexander and Kim Rochelle Dalke; his parents-in-law, Wilbur and Harriet Meerdink (Borgman); his brother-in-law Lonnie Long; his siblings, Londa Long (Feldhacker), Michael "Mike" Feldhacker, David Feldhacker, John Feldhacker and William Joseph Feldhacker; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne and Phyllis Meerdink.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Feldhacker of Oakland; his sons-in-law, Matt Alexander of Ida Grove and Bill Dalke of Sergeant Bluff; his grandchildren, Cory Hicks of Phoenix, Arizona, Austin Alexander (Corrina) of Sheldon and Abby Alexander of Iowa City, Iowa.; his stepgrandchildren, Chelon Busch and Wade Dalke of Sioux City, Iowa.; his great grandchild Aaliyah Rochelle Hicks of Phoenix; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Allie Busch, Will Busch and Makayla Busch of Sioux City, Iowa.; his siblings, Don Feldhacker (Deanna) of Lawton and Laurie Feldhacker of Spencer; and his sisters-in-law, Carole Feldhacker of Spencer and Sally Feldhacker of Spencer.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home - Atlantic (1804 E 7th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
