He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Carter and Ruby Carter (Higgins); his son Marvin Carter Jr.; his brothers, James, Lowell, Randy and David; and his in-laws, Gary and Janette Rowe.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his stepdaughters, Dawn (Jeri) and Melinda Comstock (Dave); his daughter-in-law Michelle Kramer; and his siblings, Dorothy Buse (Gary), Cinda Frain (Jerry), Grace Eyeburg (Rick) and Lee Carter. He is also survived by many grandkids and great grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carson Community Building (316 S Commercial St, Carson, IA 51525). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
