He was predeceased by: his parents, Burr Hawkins and Laura Hawkins (Strawhacker); and his siblings, Bertha Harvey, Mary Ann Manning, Gene "Bud" Hawkins, Bill "Dean" Hawkins and Florence "Babe" Kokos.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Robertson of Oakville; his sons, Eric Hawkins (Jessie) of Wapello and Tom Kellogg of Morning Sun; and his grandchildren, Cheyanne, David and Dalton. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello (209 Franklin St, Wapello, IA 52653).
