Clyde Hoekstra Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clyde Hoekstra of Ocheyedan, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ranzie Hoekstra; his brother Randall Hoekstra; his father-in-law Russel Van Berkum; his brother-in-law Denny Leusink; and his foster child Jesse Herbst.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Hoekstra (DeHamer); his wife Tammy Hoekstra; his children, Tyler Hoekstra (Kathy Mixdorf) and Casey Hoekstra (Nic Contreras); his siblings, Ivan (Peg Hoekstra) and Linda (Jim Horan); and his siblings-in-law, Gail (Darla Van Berkum), Cheri Leusink, LaDonna (Gary Dodd) and Vonda Van Berkum. He is also survived by seven nephews, and six nieces.
Memorials will be given to Kings and Queens Local in Okoboji, a foster care organization.
