He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bedet and Phyllis Bedet (Rasmussen); his brothers, Andrew and Bobby; and his brother-in-law John Dunn of Ocheyedan.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Rusche; his daughters, Laurie (Brandon) of Lakefield, Tanya (Kevin) of Galva and Melanie (Lee) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Colton, Katryna, Paige, Drew, Serena, Nikita and Leah; his sisters, Linda of Madison, FL and Gladys (Paul) of Greenville, TX; and his brother-in-law Kent (Connie) of Hospers. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home (855 Main St, Ocheyedan, IA 51354). The inurnment was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jurrens Funeral Home (855 Main St, Ocheyedan, IA 51354).
