She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Tiefenthaler and Martha Tiefenthaler (Derner); her husband Darrell "Speed" Schroeder of Martin's Catholic Church; her parents-in-law, Frank and Louise Schroeder; her son Frankie; her grandchildren, Steven Schroeder and Heather Schroeder; her siblings, Mark Tiefenthaler, Bob Tiefenthaler, Leonard Tiefenthaler, Verna Mae Schwaller and Karen Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Tiefenthaler, Janice Tiefenthaler, Nona Mae O'Conner, Ardis Schroeder, Don Schwaller, Gus Schroeder, Norman Schroeder, Clayton Schroeder, Joe Heidenreich, Bert O'Conner and Dale Albrecht.

She is survived by: her children, Slim (Mary) of Odebolt, Gary (Karen) of Lake View, Mike (Vicki) of Odebolt, Leon (Barb) of Lake View, Dan (Cindy) of Odebolt, Mary Currie (Mark) of Storm Lake, Janet Cannon (Vince) of Platte City, MO, Kristie Warnemunde (Bob) of Carroll and Bob of Scranton; her grandson Chad Mohr (Shanda) of Denison, IA; her sister Kathy Kros; and her siblings-in-law, Lillian Schroeder, Marge Albrecht, Mary Schroeder, Tom Kros and Neal Johnson. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Martin's Catholic Church (213 5th St, Odebolt, IA 51458). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
