She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Straw and Maxine Straw (Schwer); and her sisters, Regina Reedy and Beverly Callaghan. She is survived by: her husband Aaron James of Oelwein; her brother Mark Straw (Beth); her children, Tristan Westpfahl of Oelwein, Preston Huinker (Ivy) of Oelwein, Ayden James (Ali) of Ames and Aspen James of Oelwein; her grandson Sebastian Huinker; and her pet Baron.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Leo's Generations Lounge (29 S Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662).
