She was predeceased by : her parents, Ivan Kelly and Evelyn Kelly (Schmeling); her son Jacque Casteel; her sister Carmen Manganella; and her brother-in-law Jerry Chase.

She is survived by : her sisters, Mary Chase of Oelwein and Sylvia Funnell (Gary) of Goldfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
