It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecilia Garris of Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Sr. Garris and Mary Garris (Schmidt); her siblings, Peter, John Jr., George, Adam, Jerome, Fleir Garris, Irene Vogel and Marie Hartmann; her nephew Steve Hartmann; and her close friend Ollie Fratzke.

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, Greg (Diane), Eric (Bridget), Jim (Irene), Kerry Hartmann (Susan), Ron Garris, Mick Garris, John Garris (Linda), Kathy Hartmann and Sue Garris.

Memorials may be directed to the family or the Buchanan County Animal Shelter.
