Charles Serra Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Serra of Oelwein, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Serra and Theresa Serra (Leo); his wife Connie Lou Luther; and his siblings, Lucrezia Fazio, Frances McNaney, Dorothy Pugliese and Raymond.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Lund (Philip) of Happy Valley, Janette Simon (Mike) of Oelwein, Gina Koch (Art) of Crystal Lake and Charles, Jr. Serra (Tina) of Crystal Lake, Illinois; Rosemary Acri of Green Valley, Arizona.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in his name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Oelwein Husky Booster Club.
