He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl and Dorothy C. Nading (Cree); his stepmother Alice Sperry Nading; and his brothers, James David Nading, Kenneth Allan Nading and Richard Lynn Nading.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Nading of Oelwein; and his children, Nathan Nading (Coreen) of Strawberry Point and Angela Nading-Annis (Chad) of Maynard. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
