She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Fernald and Maude Fernald (Scott); her husband Iver Harry Heidt; her son Steven; and her sons-in-law, Gary Unger and Kent Falck.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Manley (Jim) of Waterloo, Roger Heidt (Rita) of Ozark, MO, Carol Opitz (Pete) of Strawberry Point and Susan Falck of Strawberry Point. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and many other relatives.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church - Strawberry Point (202 W Mission St, Strawberry Point, IA 52076). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed in her name to the United Methodist Church in Strawberry Point, Iowa.
