She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Elmer and Velma Marie Stewart (Ortmann); her husband Clarence E. Williams; her children, Vernon Vandersee and Irene Weidman; her sons-in-law, Mike Gallagher and Richard Wenger; her brothers, Carl Stewart, Ronald Stewart and Glen Stewart; and her siblings-in-law, Delores Stewart, Kay Stewart, Beverly Vandersee, Arleta Vandersee, Dixie Vandersee, Betty Pierce, Donald Vandersee and Marvin "Bud" Vandersee.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lowe (Dale) of Fairbank, Elaine Gallagher of Hazleton, Ruth Wenger of Fairbank and Paul Vandersee of Dubuque; her great grandchild Mike Weidman of Madrid; her sons, Chris, Brad and Clarence Williams (family: Dan, Bonnie, Susan); her sister-in-law Karen Stewart of Lomira, Wisconsin; and her in-laws, Russ Vandersee (Susan) of Sumner, Dennis, Arlene Vandersee of Fayette, Harold, Venice Vandersee of Oelwein, John and Shirley West of Dripping Spring. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home (221 N Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (160 6th St N, Maynard, IA 50606).
Memorials may be directed in her name to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Maynard, the Maynard Library, the Maynard First Responders or the West Central School Library.
