It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michele Recanati of Oelwein, Iowa, born in San Jose, California, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Recanati and Almeda Recanati (Deatherage). She is survived by: her children, Tre Cyr, William Rudolph of Coeur and Brody Reffner of Roaring Springs, PA; her siblings, Cynthia Recanati of Oelwein, Philip Recanati of Oelwein and Mark Recanati of Texas; and her siblings' children, Amanda, Luke, Lexi, Nicholas and Ethan.

In her honor and for those who lost the COVID-19 battle, her family asks that this illness be taken seriously and the people of Oelwein, and the world, continue to protect themselves and others by practicing social distancing and wearing masks.
