He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Maurice and Dorothy Myrrl Irvine (Jenney); his daughters-in-law, Linda Irvine and Brenda Irvine; his grandsons, Justin Irvine and Cory Carver; and his brother Rickey Irvine.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Irvine of Oelwein; his sons, Jeff Irvine (Becky) of Easton, Tim Irvine (Lorrie) of Castalia, Ken Irvine (Deb) of Postville, Randy Irvine (Dana) of Oelwein, David Irvine (Colleen) of Stanley and Robert Irvine (Kim) of Stanley; his grandchildren, Jeremy Irvine (Natalie), Lindsey Sponsel (David), Michael Irvine (Julie), Christopher Irvine (Lyndsay), Jenni Tellin (Ray), Brian Irvine (Wendy), Christina Murray (Alex), Joshua Irvine (Robin), Jacob Irvine (Jessica), Benji Irvine (Casey), Mack Irvine, Gary Aldrich (Kristin) and Chris Carver (Rose); and his siblings, Doreen Gillette (Roger) of Keller, Texas and Terry Irvine (Judy) of Keller, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Christ United Presbyterian Church (100 E Charles St, Oelwein, IA 50662).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Arlington Place Oelwein, Christ United Presbyterian Church, or Cedar Valley Hospice.
