She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Halsted and June Halsted (Miehe); her son Lane; and her brother Douglas Halsted. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Woodward (Anthony (Skip) of Pembroke Pines, FL, Darin (Deb) of Lawler and Eric (Melissa) of Oelwein; her daughter-in-law Lynn Thornton of Cambria, WI.; and her grandchildren, Mandy Thornton, Tyler Thornton (Ally), Toni Antonie (Zach), Tara Mateu (Jorge), Benjamin Woodward (Stacey), Sarah Thornton, Hunter Thornton and Isaac Thornton (Melanie).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ United Presbyterian Church (100 E Charles St, Oelwein, IA 50662). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
