It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Thomas Brown of Oelwein, Iowa, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Edward and Joan Patricia Brown (Simpson); and his sister Patty Bathke. He is survived by : his former life partners, Christine Shaffer and Treva Destival; his children, Trisha Daggs (Heath) of Oelwein, Trent Brown (Jennie) of Robinson and Brianne Brown of Hazleton; his grandchildren, Cory Short (Stephanie), McKenna Tafolla, Tessa Tafolla, Kylee Brown and Maddie Brown; his great grandchildren, Dylan Short, Hayden Short, Rowen Short and Elayna Patterson; and his sisters, Kathleen Brown of Frisco, Rosemary Brown (Brad Harris) of Rowley, Alice Peeper (Jerry) of Rydal, Theresa Samlow (Jamie) of McHenry, Diane Mahoney (Kevin) of Rolling Meadows and Christine Intravaia of Lake Zurich. He is also survived by Nieces & Nephews.
