She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leverington and Eva Bailey Leverington; her husband Gaile Carlson; and her sisters, Dorothy Pettit, Doris Amburgey and Mildred.
She is survived by: her sons, James Carlson (Suzanne) of Brookfield, Wisconsin and Michael Carlson (Martha); her grandchildren, Jennifer Carlson of Olathe, Kansas., Mitchell Carlson (Jamie), Abigaile Reuter (Spencer), Emma Carlson (Justin Gullickson), Hannah Carlson and Callan Carlson; her great grandchildren, Griffin Carlson, Bennett Carlson and Ada Reuter; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Carlson, Linda Carlson and Donna Carlson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community United Methodist Church (337 SW 2nd St, Ogden, IA 50212). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Ogden Scholarship Foundation or Ogden Community United Methodist Church. No flowers, please.
